Why did you leave the Liberal Party?

Answer

The Liberal Party and its policies are broken. Trust is gone and they no longer understand their own core principals. The Liberal Party no longer represents their so-called ‘broad church’. They deny that climate change is a serious threat. They have become so close to big business that they seem to represent business interests ahead of people. The party has become out of touch with the views of the electorate on so many matters, from climate change through to same sex marriage, to seemingly perpetual offshore detention of refugees and a reluctance to conduct reviews of businesses behaviours, such as the royal commission into misconduct in banking.
